(6) ePTFE Tubes produced by the ePTFE Product Division are suitable for many medical, filtration and chemical processing applications. If you need prototypes for a new application, we may already have something close to your requirements that can be furnished free for your evaluation. For medical applications we can provide R&D prototypes after which we can help provide machinery for an ePTFE production system, utilizing in-house custom or stock extrusion and tentering equipment.
ePTFE membrane offers superior performance compared to most other plastics with regard to chemical & bio inertness, temperature range, UV resistance, electrical and heat insulation properties. We can produce very thin membrane (1/10th mil) or laminated sheets of membrane to over 0.500. Fibril IND of less than 0.3 micron to 50 micron can also be produced.
(3) ePTFE Filtration Laminate is an ePTFE membrane that is thermobonded to a variety of materials such as polyester felt, spunbond polyester, PE or PP mesh. We can also bond ePTFE to other materials that you supply or we source.
(7) Ego-soft™ expanded PTFE is made from virgin PTFE and is softer and more conformable than many other brands. The density of the sheet is 0.40 ±0.15 s.g. and the thickness tolerance is ±25% of the nominal thickness. Prices and specifications subject to change without notice.
(4) Suitable for a wide variety of filtration, outdoor, industrial, and other applications, Phillip's ePTFE thread is unaffected by UV light and has a working temperature of -450 to 600°F.
(24) Phillips Scientifics ePTFE Joint Sealant is made in the USA from 100% Virgin expanded PTFE. It is interchangeable with leading brands, available in sizes: 1/8, 3/16, 1/4, 3/8, 1/2, 5/8, 3/4 and 1, and in Standard or Bulk Lengths. We offer the lowest prices in the industry as with comparable sized joint sealant, and with our large inventory, we are able to ship 95% of our orders the same day. It has a full pH Range of 0 to 14 (except for fluorine and molten alkali metals), and it is fully compatible with petroleum products. The temperature range is -450 to 600°F, allowing use in a wide variety of environments. Pressure range is from full vacuum to 3000 psi and depends on the flange design and operating temperature. See application and ...
(18) Phillips Scientifics PTFE valve stem packing is made in the USA from 100% Virgin PTFE. The extruded PTFE tape core (axially oriented) is racially reinforced for improved strength and shred resistance. It is medium density (approx. 1.6 s.g) yet highly pliable, to ensure good compression around the valve stem. It has a full pH Range of 0 to 14 (except for fluorine and molten alkali metals), and it is fully compatible with petroleum products. The temperature range is -450 to 500°F, allowing use in a wide variety of environments. Spools are generic labeled (Phillips' name is not on the spool) to protect your marketing efforts. No minimum order is required.
(21) Phillips Scientific offers a rod profiling service that includes standard hex sizes as well as custom profiles. The price list is for PTFE rod but other types of rod can also be machined. Precise water foils and interlocking section designs have been produced.
(6) Phillips Scientific has surplus/used PTFE Paste Extruders, Preform Presses, Extrusion Dies, Calander Lines, MDO Lines, Tenter Lines, Sintering Ovens, and Granular PTFE & UHMW Ram Extruders available for purchase. Phillips Scientific builds new ePTFE Paste Extrusion machinery and UHMW-PE/PTFE Ram Extruders. A variety of related ePTFE processing machinery is also offered.
Phillips Scientific manufactures and develops PTFE paste extrusion machinery for a broad range of applications. For medical applications we can provide R&D prototypes after which we can help provide an ePTFE production system, utilizing in-house custom or stock extrusion and tentering equipment.
